to cause people to see - as the people of God, we are the light and salt in our community to cause others to wake up to the realization that there is more to life than what they presently know. The entrance and foundation of the ability to see is found in a born-again experience whereby we can see the kingdom of God (Jn. 3:3).

experience - Being born again allows us to see the kingdom of God, but many see God’s kingdom yet fail to actually experience the life of God’s kingdom (Mt. 22:14). It is not only our purpose to cause people to see God’s kingdom, but we must also serve to help them experience the life of His kingdom. There must be a giving up of the old life (Mt. 10:39; Mt. 16:25; Lk. 17:33; Jn. 12:25) and a receiving of the new one in Christ (Ps. 30:11; Isa. 61:1-3; Eph. 4:22-24; Col. 3:8-11) This is foundational to a life in Christ. It is not the purpose of God to heal our past life but rather it is His purpose to make us new creations (2 Cor. 5:17), trees of righteousness (Isa. 61:3). Believers in the body of Christ must know that their future is determined in Christ, not in their past (Eph. 1:17-23). Our goal and destiny in life is not to become a new creation, but rather stems from the fact that we are new creations in Christ.

and walk in - As members of the body of Christ, we must not just bump into the goodness of God, but it is God’s intent for us to live in His goodness. Our walk is our way of life. Our way of life must be the way of God’s covenant. We will work together to see men, women, and children come into a walk of relationship with God and one another that produces life in every way. As sons and daughters of God, we will relate to God and one another as His covenant family on the earth (Mt. 22:37-39).

the abundant life that Jesus came to give - It is our goal to serve as ministers of reconciliation to our community to see men, women, and children come into an ever increasing relationship with God as their Father (Jn. 17:3). It is God’s purpose for us to experience life with Him and one another to the fullest (Jn. 10:10). It is time for us to "get a life"!
