I. OUR WALK IN CHRIST

....A. Our walk is a walk of faith. Heb. 11:1-4

........1. Why was Abel listed as one of the elders
............of faith? Gen. 4:1-5

............Abel Gave God the first, and he gave God the best!

....B. It is part of our spiritual service to honor God.

........ Pr. 3:9 Honor the LORD with your possessions,
.........and with the firstfruits of all your increase;
.........10 so your barns will be filled with plenty, and
.........your vats will overflow with new wine.

.........Rom.12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by
.........the mercies of God, that you present your
........ bodies.a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to
........ God, which.is your reasonable service.

...C. God must be first in our lives.

.........Mk. 12:30 ‘And you shall love the Lord your God
.........with all your heart, with all your soul, with all
.........your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the
.........first commandment.

II. THERE IS A LIBERTY OF FIRSTFRUITS.

....A. How do we know that we will be raised from
........ the dead? 1 Cor. 15:20-23

....B. Why was the house of Stephanas addicted to
........ the ministry of the saints?

.........1 Cor. 16:15 I urge you, brethren--you know the
........ household of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits
.........of Achaia, and that they have devoted
.........themselves to the ministry of the saints--
....C. How can we be sure that the promise of
........ Abraham will come to pass in the earth?

........ Gen. 22:2 And He said, “Take now your son,
........ your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to
........ the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a
........ burnt offering on one of the mountains of which
........ I shall tell you.”

....D. How do we know that all of creation will be set
........ free from the curse?

........ Rom. 8:20 For the creation was subjected to
........ futility, not willingly, but because of Him who
........ subjected it in hope; 21 because the creation
........ itself also will be delivered from the bondage of
........ corruption into the glorious liberty of the children
........ of God. 22 For we know that the whole creation
........ groans and labors with birth pangs together until
........ now. 23 And not only they, but we also who
........ have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we
........ ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly
........ waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our
........ body.

....E. Why didn’t Israel inherit the promised land?

........ Hos. 9:10 “I found Israel like grapes in the
........ wilderness; I saw your fathers as the firstfruits on
........ the fig tree in its first season. But they went to
........ Baal Peor, and separated themselves to that
........ shame; They became an abomination like the
........ thing they loved.”

........ Jer. 2:3 “Israel was holiness to the LORD, the
........ firstfruits of His increase. All that devour him will
........ offend; disaster will come upon them,” says the
........ LORD.
